    quadrajet gurus needed please

hey there, i havent been on here in a while been busy with new project and i just need a little guidance at the moment, i cant for the life of me remember the numbers on this quadrajet i found and i arent around the carb at the mo so i cant check, it is a 170 one though and when i looked up the numbers i think its an '86 carb. im wondering if anyone can tell me whether its one of them electronic ones that will need a ecu to run or whether it will run without one, ive circled the plugs im wondering about in yellow, they look nice and dirty like they havent recently had plugs removed from them on the previous application to me so im assuming maybe it dont need them? also in green ive circled some vacuum ports i need help with, all the others are all blocked off, again dirty like they havent been used, does the one on the front go to the pcv on the right hand rocker cover? and does the small one on the back in the other pic go to the vacuum advance on the dissy? also the fuel line on the rear in red, is it nessessary to have it hooked up to one of them charcoal cannisters? this is gunna go on a 400 chev. cheers for your help guys, my last carb was a holley, it may take a coupla days between replies if yall need more info as i dont have a computer. maybe i should just try run it and see how it goes?
