    Holley Volumax Fuel Pump

I am looking to buy a Holley Volumax fuel pump (part # 12-327-20) as the price is right. It says that it is preset at 8 psi, but also says a fuel pressure regulator is needed. This information came from the Doug Herbert catalog. If it is set at 8 psi., do I still need the regulator? Thank you for the help, Allen Clark

Yup, 8 psi is too high, needs to be around 4 or 5.
