Going to be some very extensive mods to put Cleveland heads on a 6!!!!!
i seen one awhile back about taking sbc alluminum heads chopping them up welding back together made 1000 horse with a big oll turbo on a 250 chevy 6, in a studebaker.
Don't have any article ---but==it was done by cutting off one cylinder from two heads and putting the two 3 cylinder portions together--the straight 4 and 6 cyl engines got a better weight break in NHRA mod classes and the Cleveland head was the best out there---I seem to remember that they may of even been used on some Chevy or AMC blocks
jack roush did that with the iron boss head .someone told me maskins(DART) did them many moons ago they cut them up and furnaces welded them up

i had built one for a stock car racer back in the late 70's he supplied all the parts. it was a real screamer on the track. after getting my storage sheds cleared out and org. i have a couple 300's and about 10 351 heads 2v. all my notes were lost when my house was burnt down in 2004. thanks for the help,guys.the machine shop were the work was done is out of business.so i'm tring to get as much info as i can .
