I have a 383 stroker, forged eagle crank,6inch lunati pro mod rods, about 11.4:1 compression, solid flat tappet lunati cam. (cant remember liftetc. dont have my cam card handy, but over .500@50). A brodix single plane intake, a Bigs built 750 HolleyHP carb, and a pete jackson gear drive.Dart Iron Eagle heads...Any advice? never got it dyno'd. Id like to hit at least the 500 horse mark. remarks, advice, anything would be appreciated!!!!
The question is do you guys think I can hit that 500 hp mark? If not what can I do to get this thing ready for next season.

5 different Iron Eagle volumes....choose one....
    165
    180
    200
    215
    230
After you've determined which Iron Eagle heads you have, list intake and exhaust flow 0.100" through 0.600" valve lift.
There are at least a dozen Brodix single plane intakes. Choose a part number.
Lunati grinds dozens of flat tappet cams for a SBC. Choose a part number.
    Exhaust system....choose one....

oh yeah, and lose the gear drive!!! The harmonics are tough on engines, a quality roller chain and gears setup is much better....

Is there anything stamped on the heads to determine theflow? list # etc...
also, I have heard that a gear drive is not the best idea. how difficult would it be to upgrrade? Any suggestions on belt drives?

Cloyes True Roller chain drive timing set. Install and forget it.
Dart makes good heads, but it's tough trying to get flow figures out of them. They don't much like to play the game apparently, so I don't use 'em when doing DynoSim software pulls.
