    Hello im new here and i wanted to ask some questions i have a 72 chevy with 350 in it and it runs poor its sorry i was wondering if you guys have any tips to get it running better but i have 39inch tires on but that wouldnt make to big of a differnce b/c it almost doesnt run the speed limit. How fast does a 350 run anyone know?

    How does it not run right?
    Overheat, Skip, no power.
    800 rpm manual trans
    900 rpm automatic.
    gearing it lower might fix it as 39 inchers will take some power.

    well the engine rams up but it seems like it doesnt wanna go like if i floor it.

    Try retuning the carb. gear it lower. what cam do you have, you may have a low torq, high power cam, you need a high torq 4x4 cam. your 39 inchers are taking some power, get 4.10's if you dont have them yet.
