Gilbert Chevy (formerly sallee) has a zz450 for $8,250.

I agree completely. Knowing what I do now from here I would gladly employ Pat to build my engine to spec. It will exceed 430 hp with better parts I believe. Then buy some zz430 valve covers for your 430+ hp engine at less than ebay prices! :toocool:

Take a FastBurn 385, swap in the factory "Hot Cam" and roller lifters, and you have a ZZ430 clone.
The value in those motors isn't in the horsepower, it's in the fact that there was a limited run, and they're all gone.
