    barn find

     



    not sure if this is correct thread to post in, just thought id share a find i came across and had to bring home, car was totally wrecked and squashed from a barn falling on it plus rotted out beyond beleif but look what i pulled from the rubble....392 cubes!!

    may not be a 426 but to me it is starting to be more valuable seeing its not being reproduced yet...guys around here laugh when i showed them, they were saying its nothing but a boat anchor and never made power, i laugh thinking of all that were ran in rail cars.

    Don't let the experts steer you wrong, these are terrific engines and are seeing a renewed interest in building them. They just look so cool in a hot rod. You are very lucky.

    Barn Find? I found that someone took most of the posts out of my son's barn and it was really sagging. He bought the place last winter. I've been repairing it all week lifting and putting in posts. Thought I might store my Ts and other goodies in it. Even thought about putting a shop inside by raising the second floor. Sure don't want it to fall down though.
