It's alive again
Well, my NOS Carter RBS arrived in the mail today so I went out and put it on, aside from having to make adjustments to the throttle cable cause the linkage is a little diffrent it went on in less than 10 mins.. car runs like a top with it.. I do have my original at the rebuilders getting rebuilt. I sent it out before I found this NOS carb on Ebay. so I'll have a spare. You don't know what you've got til it's gone

Oh and I just bid on a nice set of '51 Chevy hubcaps. was going to get baby moons but when I popped off 1 of the old caps to measure for the size today, I realised that they mount diffrently and I would need diffrent wheels. You don't know what you've got til it's gone

Thanks guys! It's been a long road. Fun doing finishing work for sure. Getting the dash ready for paint and some interior trim. Have to do some finish work on the aluminum headliner before...
