    Dart Iron Head Help

I have set Dart Iron Heads 64cc with 180cc runners. In order get tips roller rocker some what centered over valves stems , put my push rods against intake runners going down thru head. I'm using guide plates also. You can just get piece paper between intake runner and push rod. Is this acceptable. I'm sure not happy with this. Something should move it could be ugly. Theirs not much material to cut out for clearance. I have standard pushrod with 1.52 rockers and .480 lift.

buy a set of adjustable guilde plates made by isky 5/16 #200-agp or #300-agp you should not grind on the push rod hole you could brake thru the intake port

Thanks Pat , You would think Dart would correct this problem. Seems to be way it is with bigger valves.

well i can not see what you have but any thing less then 030 buy the isky plates or slot yours with a die grinder and use a stone for grinding the holes out to a slot should not take much just need to move them one way away from the intake ports

It will put my roller rocker tip off center of valve stem some what. But it will give me .030 clearance instead of .005 off intake runner. What problem is had move push rod close to intake runner get it centered over valve stem. With adjustable guide plate least move push rod over for clearance , but off setting over vavle stem if this is acceptable.
