Get ready for another re-build. Among other things: a new cam, lifters, springs, and heads. My 350 is at about that level with basics such an inspired cam and fuelie heads and a c.r. of 10:1. Loves the open road more then the city streets and it's not always street friendly. It might be tough to do it for $1000 or less, but probably not impossible with the right mixture of goodies. I would normally recommend a new crate motor, but even if you were to sell your motor you don't have the budget for a 350hp replacement, so buying the go-fast parts you need might be your only solution.

There are enough motorheads here to give you all of the specs on things you will need. So I will defer to them to give you the particulars. Good luck with your build.Bob

A good friend will come and bail you out of jail....but a true friend will be sitting next to you saying..."Damn....that was fun!
