we are running and Enderle hat on an Edelbrock tunnel ram on Alcohol in our S/G car. Once you get it set up right it is neat but it takes considerable tuning to make it work right.

Barrel valve on the street is touchy though, there really isn't a good off idle throttle position.

Run the sreet barrel valve (smoother transition for light throttle running) Make sure you have all the pills they give you to tune the fuel rate (supplied with kit including instructions) It will take you no more than two hours on the hard side if you mess up. 1 hr if you start with their recommendations. Whether it be Enderle, Kinsler, Hilborn, or Gorr's setup. When you get comfortable with your setup and want to fine tune, buy extra pills and to make things go faster upon assembly, get a leak down tester to set preliminary barrel valve adjustment. It will tell you right off the bat where your initial barrel is set to fire and run. Then you can play to your heart's content.

What do you set Nitro cars at? We used to set the Hillborn on the sprinter at 30%.

With throttle plates completely closed, 10-12% Then set air gap on the plates at 1/8" inch. This would be for stacked injectors for nitro cars running sportsman TAD. With a multiple injector set (4 sets) We set at 30% to start and end up a little higher according to air conditions and vary that, but a base to start is about 30%. This is at the shop on the test stand and the track, depending on where we're are at will be changed accordingly. With nitro being a different base fuel according to it's stoichiometric ratios and the fuel is mixed with Methanol, We can start there and use the pop-its (bleed offs)to tune the power band. The hat is almost shut with hardly any air flowing thru it because of the Oxygen we're supplying by the fuel.
