As I recall - the last time this subject came up - it was a stuck carb float that was overflowing into the crankcase.

A ruptured fuel pump diaphram can also put gas in the oil.

generally its low to no compression on a cylinder, bad pump diaphragm or a way overly rich conditionjust because your car is faster, doesn't mean i cant outdrive you... give me a curvy mountain road and i'll beat you any day

We haven't heard which carb it is....Holley? if so, check power valve and gasket that seats the power valve. Denny said change the oil...definitely! runa good trustworthy grade and weight. All these previous posts will head you in the right direction. What if the "Hokey Pokey" is what it's really all about?

yup.... oil will break down super fast with gas in it and your friends bearings will get chewed up fast.....just because your car is faster, doesn't mean i cant outdrive you... give me a curvy mountain road and i'll beat you any day

Yea its a holley..Im runnin a 10w30 right now u think i should bump it to a 40?
-

why? a 40 just means its thicker at cold temps.... meaning when the engine is cold its gonna be harder to get that oil flowing to the bearings.... leave it at a 10-30.... check the power valve on the carb also the float, make sure theres jets in there...... check your fuel pump as well make sure theres no tearing in the diaphramjust because your car is faster, doesn't mean i cant outdrive you... give me a curvy mountain road and i'll beat you any day

you dont think this could have anything to do with the electric choke being unhooked do u?
-

Well my electric choke isnt hooked up... How in the world could my elctric choke not being hooked up cause this? And how do i hook my choke up please help..
Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
