Ecm
Hello Folks!
I found in my stash a GM ECM I bought ages ago, well, about 10 years ago.
I got it open and cleaned out the assorted dirt, dust, cobwebs, etc. outta there. Dunno how all that got in there.
It's an interesting unit. There is a long # on a barcode sticker inside on one of the chips. * 968041211543350 * is what it says.
I think it's from a early 80's carbureted car, not sure though.
I attached a photo of it here. Anyone have good information on this one?

No, if there was any there's no trace of one anymore.

well if it is early 80's carb'd, it did not control anything except the M/C solonoid on the carb, and is useless for anything other than the car it came in. if it is a 80's EFI computer than it can be re flashed and control lots of cars.

Paper weight or wheel chock mabey. :whacked:

Ok, I was hoping someone could help me get more information on this unit. I'm thinking it actually came from a early 80's Buick Regal.
I don't know what 'puters they had in there say around 83-84.

all its for is controlling the duty cycle on the carb..... worth about $5 to the right person

yep, only way it would be worth anything, is if it was for a Regal Grand national

Ok.. well, I guess that about says it.
