My compression is off
I just realised today that my block has a 0 deck height, I think the machine shop 0 decked it, but didn't tell me. I had .025 which I figured everything out, I would have 8.35:1 with my pistion/ head combo. well, I figured everything with a 0 deck height today and 8.81:1 is the comp ratio, still ok for 8 PSI of turbo boost, probably right where I need to be, because of the turbo I have, will be most efficent right around 8 PSI. so my new HP numbers figuring desktop dyno 2000 are 324 HP @ 6k and 283 Ft/Lb @ 6k. seems about right to me.
the pistions are 2.3L HSC ( Tempo/ Taurus ) pistions, so they might be the cause of the decreased deck height, but IDK, the head surface shure looks milled. You don't know what you've got til it's gone

the thing i would worry most about now is how much tighter your valve clearance isjust because your car is faster, doesn't mean i cant outdrive you... give me a curvy mountain road and i'll beat you any day

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
