On my new BBC, I am running a vac-u-pan system. The trouble is,the headers were ceramic coated before the kit was installed. So the kit was installed in the collectors. Mind you i never run the car with open exhaust even at the track so i guess its not an issue. however. On the street. i am wondering if i am getting enough draw through this system with closed exhaust? i was looking at installing 2 extra breathers on the motor, or 1 extra breather and a pcv valve? The motor is going on the dyno, and i will know how much vacuum the motor is making at that time. What is the correct way to do this?Last edited by Grumpy 427; 02-22-2007 at 09:12 AM. 9.65 @ 137 MPH 1.39 60' More left in the car.

It should be installed at the collectors. Some times they don't work well with mufflers. Some guys just run hoses into a tank with a breather on it to allow the pressure out.
