I have a 462 big block chev pro built with 1050 holly dominator, crane 715 lift solid lift roller cam etc. have a cross plate nitrous system, but have never hit the nitro button. the nitrous presently has a 150 jet in it. the advance on the msd distributor is 36 degrees and a chip which will retard the timing 3 degrees when nitrous button is hit. I do not drag this car, and at the same time do not want to blow it up either, but would like to see what it would do on nitrous. My question is: when do you hit the nitrous button, and just exactly what chip must i be using? thanks rd
