Rather than block it off - run a tubing loop
or if it really needs to be cooled,
Hang a motorcycle oil cooler in front of the radiator.
or any cooling/heating core for that matter.

I would think there must be a bypass - in case a cooling line or the cooling coil becomes blocked.
