200 I6 build pics
here's some new pics. I returned the camera and bought a better 1, that was $20 more, 2.1 MP, picture quality still reflect the price but much better than the other camera, and this 1 has a LCD screen.You don't know what you've got til it's gone

hey matt thats a 200, i keep thinkinging your building a 250 i rebuilt one of those for my brother years ago ij a 78 faitmont all i did was hone and rering it and put bearings in and had the valves done el cheapo , that motor never burned a drop and outlived the car after i was done , did you have much wear on the bores?

I only had to ridge ream the #1 cyl all others had no ridge, not much wear at all. I have to still get out the bore gauge to check to see if I need to take it .030 over, but the bores look good, no scoring or anything. right now I'm cutting the valves @ 45*. the head was rebuilt b4, as was the engine, new oil pump pickup, some new valves and shims under the valve springs, all signs of a rebuild. it was in great shape, only reason it smoked was because the valve seals were hard and cracked open.
