Engine builders please check my combo.
BB and engine builder experts please check out this package and see if I am on the right track. I don't want to fall into the trap of having mismatched parts and not be satisfied with my combo after putting all this money into it.
Also am I in the right ball park with the expected compression ratio?
Car is a 1971 Corvette convertible weekend show and go project.
Block is a .030 454 2blt main.
Crank is a cast SCAT9000.
Eagle connecting rods converted from 3/8 to 7/16 blts.
HP and RPM expected is 500+\6k safe.
