There are some very good books on the 4.6 DOHC engines... Might want to check with Amazon or Barnes & Noble... The Lincoln's are tight on the bottom of the car. Whether it is the pan gasket or the rear seal, it's going to be a booger to get the engine up high enough in the car to fix it.... Haven't worked on the new Lincoln's much other then to rob a 4.6 engine from a wrecked one. Maybe some of the line mechanics at a Ford dealership could help you out with the specifics.
