Depends on vehicle, fuel delivery ect....ect....ect.........
just an old v8 with carb. nuthing fancy. Im a little too busy to do it right now and dont mind paying for it to get done, but dont want to get raped either. Im not just trying to be lazy. lol.
i dont know the exact cost, but it'd probably be about 2.0-2.5 hrs to install and most shops charge about $85/hr
200 bucks for labor using the above rate. I have heard of guys that didn't have time changing cam and all for around 300 bucks because the engine had quite a few miles on it. I can't understand why someone would spend 300 bucks on camming a worn 350 when the can get a rebuilt 350 from auto Zone or wherever for about 800 bucks (700 for a 305)doing it themselves. I know its 500 bucks more but its better than throwing 300 away in a worn out motor.
