    well you could but why?this is the way i see it if you have to do to many thing to the carb you have the wrong one? not to sound like a smart a$$ but how much do you want to make the carb work? i spent alot of time on two of them i had on my 50 chevy they work good then i took them off and put two afbs on and it worked just as good if not better

    hey pat thanks for all the advice, and you do have a point there. So just rebuilt it and put it on? Also what about that power valve protection kit, that saves the carb. form backfires?
