nitrous question
ive been doing alot of research on nitrous oxide which i think is a great power adder for cost to power ratio. i came by a forum of people talking about nitrous causing flames to come out the tail pipe. i have actually never seen nitrous used in person but i think its bull i dont think nitrous causes flames to come out of the exhust. what do all of you think.

..... I'd say if the timing was off {meaning an exhaust valve was open when it should have been closed} & the fuel/air mixture fired? Well yeah, it'd flame out the pipes........

What I believe you are speaking of is when they inject gas in the rear of the tailpipe ( and sparkplug/sparkbox ) to make a flamethrower, SOME of the WILD setups add nitrous with LOTS of gas to make monster flames, VERY DANGEROUS.
