What the surge at idle??
What's the deal with some of these cars with mechanical injection and blower that surge at idle. No matter if in gear or neutral, these car surge big time. The whole car rocks side to side. The engine about dies, then surges back up.
It makes a sound like: woorh........woorh.........woorh.....etc.
I seen a corvettle at the track last test and tune and it was cool just watching him in the staging lanes trying to get to the lights. The car only moves forward when the RPM spikes up. Anybody know what causes that??

lots of dur on big lsa and they seam to do it more on alcohol? i have had guy that wanted me to try to tune this in there cars?my car will do it but very little but if i want to show off i can make it do it by the throttle vacuuum .no vacuum: vacuum.LOL:Last edited by pat mccarthy; 02-18-2006 at 05:36 PM.

Good to have her home finally, still need to go back and give her another polish after messing with the engine stuff. Made it up to Idaho. Also a local show.
