To those who were aware that i HAD a 1985 iroc-z28 runnin on nitrous...u wont be hearin much about her after this thread. I went out with a few friends to get some ice cream up at RITA's , and we got to talkin bout how good my iroc sounded. a kid there had a mustang and started runnin his mouth. To make a long story short, i spun the car around twice and slammed into a ditch at about 55-60 mph. had to climb out of the car through the sidewindow being that she was on her roof. Only part that i salvaged on her was a few pieces of the interior and the brand new 10 pound nitrous bottle that is now about half empty. I tried to lie my out of it to my dad by saying that the throttle was stuck. But i didnt get far with that explanation when he saw the good 20 foot burnout i left a mile or so down the road. After sinking close to $11,000 into that car to get her into the low 12's, i was extremely pissed at myself. Now she rests peacefully under a blue tarp in the far corner of the woods on our property hiding from the cops that might have gotten wind of the accident. The moral of this story is to leave your lead foot at the track. And to keep your finger off the button. If anybody on this site will be at CARLISLE on october 5...first $500 takes the car.
