what do you think of this 350 combo?

my friend wants to know if this would run good he wont listen to me so i thought id ask you guys, its a 350 2 bolt 080 over flattop 4valve reliefs cast pistons stock rods castcrank comp 292 hyd flat tappet cam 2.02 1.94 993 casting heads ported and polished rollertip rockers old style torquer intake singleplane and a 700 double pumper he is going to put it in his 69 camaro with a 350 turbo and a 4000 stall and a 273 gear he swears this car with that combo will run 12.40 in the quarter mile is this possible please respond so i can set him straight thankyou.

If he's talking MPH, he's right. If he's talking ET, he's wrong. :LOL:

He essentially put a cam in a stock motor. That gives him not enough horsepower, the wrong gear and the wrong converter. If two wrongs don't make a right, three certainly don't.

My advice . . . don't argue with him. Just tell him good luck and ask to see the timeslip.

As they say, it's like wrestling with a pig. You both get dirty, and the pig enjoys it.

Too tall of gears and too much stall. Go with some 3.70 to 4.11 gears and a 2500 to 3000 stall and it will work better. With that stall and those gears he's talking about he will be stalling all of the time at normal cruising speeds.
Did you type that correctly 080 over 350, or did you mean .060. If 080 that thing ain't gonna last.

if you guys put this combo together and run it on slicks it will turn 12s i did it and it works ijust wanted to see if you guys knew anything. i guess maybe you dont.:LOL:
