Easy way to put Headers in 67 Ranchero?
I have a 1967 Ranchero with a 390 FE - with A/C. The engine compartment is rather small - does anyone have any advice as to how to put headers on this. Do the heads have to come off? Would this make it any easier?
Thanks

If I remember right (it was years ago) all you have to do is raise the motor up enough to get the headers to come in from the bottom.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

On a similar '67 Fairlane, we had to jack the engine up and remove the motor mounts to get them in. Its a lot easier to put them in the empty engine compartment during a swap, but that's not always an option.

Several years back, maybe before John & Rosie visited, Mike got fed up with work politics and took a week off to come to Kansas. We ran around the KC Metro for 2 or 3 days, and then he took a side...
