size of mains in chevy 350
I have a chevy 350 bored 20 over and the main line was honed. my question is, do i need special bearings for my crank. if anyone has ideas how to build this please tell me, i want to keep it "pump gas" friendly. thanks for the help.
p.s. i plan on useing a road demon jr. carb 625cfm.

Line honing involves cutting the caps down a few thousandths and recutting the bores to the original size. The crankshaft thus moves up a few thou, but it doesn't bother anything. Some manufacturers offer a special shorter timing chain, but I've never seen the need, although a roller chain would work better than the silent type. They're better anyway.
Dammit, another good ol boy gone. Condolence to the family. RIP Mike
