Total Advance
I AM CONFUSED ABOUT WHAT TOTAL ADVANCE IS. IS IT AT IDLE OR IS IT WHEN THE ENGINE IS AT IT'S PEAK? I HOOKED UP MY TIMING LIGHT AND CHECKED THE ADVANCE WITH THE VACUUM ADVANCE ON THE DISTRIBUTOR STILL HOOKED UP. I USED THE DIAL ON THE TIMING LIGHT SHOWED I WAS ADVANCED ABOUT 35 DEGREES. IS THIS TOTAL ADVANCE OR WHAT IS THIS REALLY TELLING ME?
