Day 3, it is officially a short block. The stripped out hole set me back someI am a day behind what I would like to be. I wanted to have the engine running at the end of tommorow. I did install a helicoil and am confident that it will hold up. Onto the next problem. I set the dowel pins for the heads in a little deeper than I would like and can't get them back out. I will either need to knock them into the water jacket or drill them out. I don't like the idea of having loose dowel pins in my waterjacket even though I know they will drop right to the bottom and have no effect on anything.
