Day 2 is done. I file fit the rings, the tops are set to .030" gap and the 2nd are set between .016 and .018". I had to file some of the 2nd rings because they were too tight. I installed the cam and then the crank. Everything was going great, but as I was tightening the rear main cap, at about 45 ft lbs, it popped. Looks like I'll be buying a helicoil tommorow. I was a little upset about that. The rest of the bottom end is ready to be put in. I have all of the rings fit on the pistons. I still need to put the pistons on the rods and then they'll be ready to drop in the hole.
