Ford 1964 260 ?

Helo from Idaho !
I am new to this site but have enjoyed follow the build treads really great stuff here. I have a question I hope someone can help with. I picked up a 1964 ford 260 motor, thinking I would use it on my project that I am in the planning stages on. Can some one tell me if 289 parts will fit this motor and if not is it going to be hard to find parts for? We are building this for a senior project ( he'll be a senior next year )It's a 1927 T/rpu it's made up of a 27 T cowl/fire wall and a bed from an old Cushman scooter mainly some parts that I have left over, so we are going to scratch build most of the body. Here are a couple pic of what we have going right now, We built the frame out of 2x4 first to make sure the length will be correct, before we move on to the steel.
