Pat - I hadn't really looked into all my options, was just going to go with the reliable ol' SBC, but some of those others mentioned have caught my attention too! Going to have to do a bit of searching/reading on those other engines as well.

tech - Thanks for that, the hp isn't much higher than the LS2, maybe it would be a better idea going with an LS2 (or similar), then I could sort out some kind of blower for it too.
