To Tunnel ram or not to tunnel ram?

I have a 455 olds I would like to drop into my jet boat... what would an offenhauser dual quad TR do for the motor? should I have HP pistons/heads etc for it to work better?

Im new to the high performance BB world so I figured I would ask...

    Thanks for your help.

If I were in your position, I'd get the catalog and tech reference manual from Joe Mondello. He has forgotten more than any of us will ever know about Olds engines.
