Anything such as a 351C or 351W should hook up. All depends. Why doesn't you buddy just tear the thing apart himself and look at it? Drop the pan and check there. Then if he finds something broke and can get a good deal on a 351C or so then get that. Should go right up to the C6 tranny with the right flywheel.
