you shouldnt need any oil additives. the syhnthetic people claim a smoother running motor. i worked at UPS for 5 yrs. and they claimed the most miles at least cost of any trucking co. in the world and they used no additives, they changed the oil every 3000 miles, which on the adv. truck was every 3 weeks.
