Ok what is the best way to set the valve lash on a hyd cam before start up. I am one of the old school guy who likes the hot oil and smoke for setting valve lash. But there has to be a better way. This is a 454 with blower. First start up will be less blower. Yea I know I am chicken! Want to her the old gal crank up first then we will add the goodies. Just wondering if there is a sure shot way to set the lash with out all the hot oil!
