Need suggestions on my indution systm.

I have a auotmatic 1972 Caprice with modified dual exaust, a 454 cid engine, it has a 750 cfm Qauderajet Rochester carberator, with a 1 inch aluminum qaud. riser, stock heads, K&N Air Stream air filter, and a custom grill air collector, and every thing is in good condition. I want to improve the performance of my indution systm. I want a my vehicle to perform it's best between idle and 5500 rpm's. I have been looking at ram air set up's, do you have suggestions on what's best for all out performance, is my carb. a good carb?, any help would be appreciated.
