Exhaust "H or X" cross pipe?
Hi guys:
I'm not sure if this is the place for this or not but here goes. I am in the process of changing my exhaust around on my 1952 Willys Pick-up. It is driven by a 360 AMC late 70's vintage carbed, camed(mild), ported pollished, intake,Msd'd and headers. I was wondering which cross over pipe works the best? I've now heard of "X" pipe disigns instead of the older "H" pipe design. Does anyone know which develops the better low to mid end power? I'm not interested in top end just the torque from go!
I forgot to say it is all run through a race built 727,reverse shift manual shift body, with 4:11 gearing. It has also been modified to run as a rear only vehicle, no transfercase anymore. Just a street toy.
Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Thanking you in advance:
Willys
