Help with a decision
I have a chance to pick up a 707 cubic inch monster. This killer puts out roughly 1700hp on a single stage nitrous fogger. It has been freshened up and is ready to go. It has under 50 runs on it. It has been 7.07 @197 on just the motor in a 3100lb car.
The other choice is a 632" killer also. This one is brand new, only run on a dyno for tuning and break-in purposes. It is a lower hp engine with 1160 on the motor, and comes with a 2 stage fogger to kick it up to 1400hp. It will take my car, if it looses some weight, to 8.20's motor only, and 7.30's sprayin.
I can get either one for the same money. Which one?

If the 632 is the one that isn't used as much then I would say that one. Don't listen to me if you don't wan't because I know I don't know much here and am the one that always asks the questions but if it were me I would take the one that hasn't been put through hell as much. Is your car built for that much HP by the way?

Get the new one. The other had 50 runs on it and maybe number 51 with the fogger will be the last!

Get the new motor, don't know how Freshened up the 707 is.

I goofed, it's a 706. The 632 is $30K and if the 706 were new, it runs $49K. I got a line on another 706 that has less than 20 runs on it and is more complete that the one I originally looked at. I can get that one for $15K and it also has been freshened up with new rods, valve springs, rings and bearings. I have a picture of the first one. It sure looks pretty though.

the 707 has proven itself, but 50 runs sounds like a lot. if the 50 runs dont make much dif. id go with the 707. any of them will blow up. i might have to go with the seller that would help me out the most if i had a problem. :D

that would be a no- brainer, go with the second 706,
"now thats a motor"
:toocool:

Yeah the second one sounds good. But ay it's your car so do what you thinks best or whichever one you will be most happy with.

Buy em' both (632 N' second 706) N' put 1 in the trailer as a spare soz' you won't hafta' quit early if she hatches in the early rounds. He He He It's only money.
