Hey Guys,

I'm trying to decide which size slick to go with on my '66 Chevelle.
Currently I'm running 28 x 12.5 x 15 MT Street ET on a 15x8 rim. I am having a minimal amount of scrubbing, but nothing major.
I've about got the life out of these and looking to go with a staight race slick, and I was wondering if running a taller tire like a 29 x 9.0 x 15 would be any better (more surface) or would giving up the tire width hurt the traction?
Also does anyone know because of the taller tire if I need to be aware of any clearance problems.
