what gear ratio to run
I am building 65 chevy 2 with a 406 trw flat tops 5.7 rods 64 cc 2.02/ 1.60 heads 234/ 488 cam , summit tunnel ram with 2 holley 600's, 2 speed power glide with 27x 10 slicks . what is the best differential ratio to run for the quarter mile and what horsepower should i expect

id run a 4:56 , you dont want to get to high of a rpm at the traps with that stroker . if you run a street and strip i would use 4:10.

If you know the RPM you want to run at the end of the quarter, use one of the Virtual Gear Ratio calculators to figure out your gear ratio. I would stay a bit on the conservative side on the gear ratio, normally strokers don't like a lot of RPM and quite easy to rev beyone the max torque RPM of the motor.
