    Junior Dragsters

Interesting article in Dragzine on Junior Dragsters, some of the people who have run them or are currently running them.... Good reading, especially if you might have kids, grandkids, nieces, nephews, or neighbors who have an interest in running one!

Jr Dragsters are a blast, we did it for 8 years when my youngest son turned 8. Now his son is 2 and we can't wait till he turns 8.

Juniors are great, but we had more fun with road course Go-Karts. Wayyyyy more seat time and the youngster actually learns how to slice and dice in traffic, something that is useful in preparation for driving on the streets and highways in a few years.

I agree with tech inspector 1, we raced together in phoenix for years and it was the best driving lessons we could have given our kids. Can't wait to get my FED project started this year.

Hello gibbstein, not certain if you knew that you revived a thread that last saw action in January 2014.
No worries. It seems shine also participated today so it was timely.

Dick Gibbs is an old and very dear friend of mine. When I talked with him on the phone earlier today, he told me that he is just beginning to gather parts to construct a front motor digger with injected Gen I hemi power. I asked him to join us on ClubHotRod and start a build thread with pisc, so all of us can enjoy the experience. We used to chide each other about being cheap, so I named him Gibbstein and he named me Mooreberg......hahahahahahaha
