I think I heard the camera they have on the cables move 100 mph. I have to agree with y'all on the 4 wide stuff. good for switching to another if a oil spill to keep from delay's or something. the all out four wide is just for show purposes.

nope..dangerous enough with 2 side by side....i give it a thumbs down
It totally sucks......I want to see two at a time head to head, not have to try to see four going at once.....bull crap......only thing I can see as a pro vrs. a con would be if one lane gets oiled down, then there is an alternate to go to while the clean up is underway.....other than that, I will NEVER attend one....just dumb
I'm in agreement. You don't get the chance to focus on each car and team... and I don't really feel the same sense of competition as I do between TWO adversaries.
It's always a disappointment for me when these events come on.
can you imagine one force car running 3 shu cars??????????
How about 1 Force Car, 1 Schumacher car, 1 Pedragon car and 1 viewers choice car? 8-)
4-wide? pffffbbbbbbbbt!
Waaaay back when I was running stockers with my '56 Dodge D-500 I was frequently "gunning for" one specific competitor or another.
It was great to occasionally win my class, but if I managed to snuff somebody that had beaten me, or maybe some dude who regularly got me PO'ed for whatever reason, well, that was icing on the cake.
Running four-wide would would definitely not have lent itself to "grudge racing" if that's what you wanted to call it.

I want to see one "underdog low-budget single car team" stomp three cars from the mega-dollar teams!!! }:-) Today I have to cheer if the single car teams can just qualify! It' sad. I want to go back to the mid sixties! THAT was the sport that captured my heart.
I guess that they may be getting the idea that nobody likes this and once again , the troubles with this track come to light!!!!!!!!!!!!
Race last week was canceled after first round crash of pro stocker V Gaines-to be completed this week during qualifying at Dallas.
seems track wants to peel up and has happened before here---------
Also Gramn should return $$$$$$$$$$$$ to Bob Vandergriff for walking down track after mishap in Atlanta--to force them to stop racing in un safe conditions sorta like this-
AH! I saw the accident and got sick of the race! I turned the TV off and went to bed. I did see the earlier footage of the track concrete being lifted up with the sticky tires.. I don't usually agree with Greg Andersons opinion but right after the Gaines accident, Anderson was politicin' to stop the race before they started the next pair down the track. NHRA blew him off! I'll bet they wish they could revisit that moment.
I don't like it
