NHRA postpones US Nationals to next weekend due to wet weather

CLERMONT, Ind. — Facing hours-long cleanup and resurfacing of the drag strip and the threat of more rain, NHRA officials on Monday postponed the final two days of the U.S. Nationals until Sept. 8-9.
The final two rounds of qualifying, rained out on Sunday, will be held on Sept. 8, along with the $100,000 Funny Car NHRA Traxxas Nitro Shootout bonus race. Final eliminations will be held on Sept. 9.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
