Hot Rod Reunion
The Hot Rod Reunion 2011 was a great show but I did not get to even qualify or make one run because we found the motor had broke a cross bar on a lifter getting it ready and ruined another cam. We tried to get the old ones out but they had mushroomed on the bottom. I guess that is racing. The yellow FED was pitted next to us and it was one bad ass blown SBC. He said it was around 1300hp and it sounded like it had it everyone of those ponies. Here are some pics I took and as you can see there are always beautiful cars in Bakersfield.

I saw last night on fb about John. The world sure lost a great one. I'm going to miss his humor, advice, and perspective from another portion of the world. Rest in Peace Johnboy.
