Nice pass! Pro Mod class or???
He runs top sportsman, with a local group here. They are heavy hitters running mid to low 6's. Erik runs mid 7's, but is killer on the lights. If the field is small enough for him to qualify he does pretty good. He won a wally a month or so ago. And, he won the quick 8 at Cordova last week, the night before this run. The run I posted was a quick 16 & he was one of only 3 cars that qualified, the rest were pipe racks. He went a couple 2-3 rounds in that event too. He said it's hard to beat the pipe racks."PLAN" your life like you will live to 120.

My last one was a retired TA car with a BBF and a glide---most consistent bracket car I ever had---if you like 7.80 bracket carsIn Quick 8, could leave on most anybody, I suppose because of the light weight and gobs of torque... Even ran a gamblers race with it one Friday night and had the most exciting race I ever had!!!! Dialed in 7.90 against a 17 second Dart with a 318 2bbl---scared the poo-poo out of him when I went around him, afterwards we had a good laugh about it!

I saw last night on fb about John. The world sure lost a great one. I'm going to miss his humor, advice, and perspective from another portion of the world. Rest in Peace Johnboy.
