    Question for BlownGoat

Wondering how much clearance you have from rear wheels to quarter panel? I was talking to a guy at chassis cert. day last year who has a 70 Camaro. his slicks where purdy' close to the lip of the qt. panel. just wondering how much groin' room I should give em. i've got 33x22.5x15's. Rubbin' the sheet metal at the far end of the track would problee' be a bad thing

Hey pro, i got about 1 1/2" right now which "should" be ok

I'm runnin 33x18.5 micky T's right now and i called MT last summer to ask them and they told me that i should leave a minimum of 1" to allow for tire growth so i think i should be ok.

I'm sure each tire manufactur is diffrent so i would find out how much your tires will grow also.

Are you "stretching" your rear quarters? i have been tryin to decide if i want to do that or not on mine.
Somewhere out on Woordward ave. cruzin!

I've got about the same clearance as you do. I'll have to check with Hoosier. I've got my tires set in purdy' far, because the gen 2 quarter panels curve in at the top a lot.
