I sure do love the sound of the old cars, lots of races won by who was the best on the stick!!! Those who say you can't be consistent with a manual trans were never around to watch some of these cars.... Good SuperStocker and Gasser drivers ran within a hundreth or two of their qualifying time all day long.... And man, those little motors staying up in the revs all the way through the 1/4!!!! Even in the late 60's the B/SS Mopar I drove had to be within .020 of index to evern be competitive, and you'd better be on index to be a winner...all day long.... Originally Posted by Ken Thurm

Well Dave,you know that sinking feeling you get for yrs you get when you didn't go with your first gut feeling about a deal.The shoulda,coulda,woulda,thingy.Do the deal and never look back.Run her for a yr and have fun-then sell it off to a guy who remembers his childhood dreams that will pay more than ya got into it.
