I sure do love the sound of the old cars, lots of races won by who was the best on the stick!!! Those who say you can't be consistent with a manual trans were never around to watch some of these cars.... Good SuperStocker and Gasser drivers ran within a hundreth or two of their qualifying time all day long.... And man, those little motors staying up in the revs all the way through the 1/4!!!! Even in the late 60's the B/SS Mopar I drove had to be within .020 of index to evern be competitive, and you'd better be on index to be a winner...all day long....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
